The members of Cantina Valdaso, who with their activities and skilful work in the vineyard have preserved the landscape of the Picene hills over the decades while maintaining the historical cultural environmental heritage, cultivate about 600 hectares of vineyards on a territory of over 30 municipalities; in this context, so wide and with different micro climates, the grapes have a multitude of unparalleled characteristics and a gradual ripening: the harvest begins in the vineyards that are located near the sea, and then continues in the mid-hill until harvesting, after about a month from the beginning, the grapes from the high hills, at about 480 m AMSL, are the last to mature.
This allows a gradual and optimal processing of the grapes, managing to capture the best characteristics from each bunch and to offer wines of excellent quality which is much appreciated by the public.
